Job Overview:

One Isle Residencies is seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Legal/Compliance Officer to ensure that all legal and regulatory requirements are met throughout the project lifecycle. The ideal candidate will provide expert guidance on legal matters and ensure that the project operates within established guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and draft contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to construction and real estate.
• Provide legal advice to management on contractual obligations and risks.
• Liaise with external legal counsel and regulatory bodies when necessary.
• Monitor changes in laws and regulations affecting the project.
• Investigate and resolve compliance issues promptly.
• Develop and implement internal policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance.
• Monitor and follow up on all compliance-related approvals, licenses, and permits to prevent delays and ensure timely completion.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Law or a related field; professional certification preferred.
• Minimum of 1–3 years of experience in legal or compliance roles, preferably in the construction or real estate sector.
• Strong understanding of construction law, contract law, and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent research, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle complex legal issues.
